Provoking the Senses
To those of you for whom creating a romantic atmosphere is a new experience, I recommend starting with baby steps. It isn't necessary to go to extremes in order to set the stage for a romantic encounter. After being bombarded all day long with sunlight, bright lights, and fluorescent lights, a good first step to creating a romantic atmosphere is to stock up on red light bulbs. The flattering light provided by these inexpensive but indispensable objects make you look like a sex goddess ­ slim and wrinkle-free (this could be the reason certain areas are called "red light" districts. You can find them in most hardware stores. Imagine your mate's surprise when he turns on the table lamp and sees a soft red glow instead of the usual bright white light. If he asks, "What's this?" you can reply, "I love you, and since red is the color of love, I wanted to fill the room with love."
